Float Glass Production Line
Float Glass Production Line
The Float Glass Production Line represents the foundation of modern glass manufacturing. Utilizing the world-renowned float process, molten glass is poured onto a bed of molten tin, where it spreads evenly to form a continuous ribbon. This process produces glass with exceptional flatness, smoothness, and optical clarity, making float glass one of the most widely used materials in construction and industry today.
Advanced Production Process
-
Raw Material Preparation – High-quality silica sand, soda ash, limestone, and other additives are carefully measured and melted in a furnace at extremely high temperatures.
-
Float Process – The molten glass flows onto a molten tin bath, where it naturally spreads and levels out under gravity, forming a perfectly flat surface.
-
Annealing – The glass ribbon is gradually cooled in a controlled lehr to relieve internal stresses and ensure stability.
-
Cutting & Quality Control – The glass is cut into required dimensions, inspected, and packaged for delivery.
Key Features of Float Glass
